As you can tell, I'm finding lots of videos on TED today. Here is how TED describes this next video...
Speaking at the 2007 EG conference, "renegade lunch lady" Ann Cooper talks about the coming revolution in the way kids eat at school -- local, sustainable, seasonal and even educational food.

What's Wrong With What We Eat
I found this video on TED. I am using the description from Ted, because they describe it excellently.
In this fiery and funny talk, New York Times food writer Mark Bittman weighs in on what's wrong with the way we eat now (too much meat, too few plants; too much fast food, too little home cooking), and why it's putting the entire planet at risk.

The World's Killer Diet
Here's another video from Ted. Here is how they describe the talk...
Stop wringing your hands over AIDS, cancer and the avian flu. Cardiovascular disease kills more people than everything else combined -- and it’s mostly preventable. Dr. Dean Ornish explains how changing our eating habits will save lives.

Jamie Oliver's Wish
Here is a video from TED.
Obesity is a growing problem in the United States. Approximately 2/3 of American adults and 1/3 of American children are overweight or obese. The effects on the body are staggering. And it is all preventable.
In this video, Jamie Oliver shares some of the statistics -- and his solution.

Extraordinary Life
My intention for this blog is to share information for you to contemplate. This information may inspire. It may outrage. It may make you laugh. It may make you walk away shaking your head. Or it may do none of those things.
I cannot decide how you will react to what I post. I ask that if something doesn't fit within your comfort zone or paradigm that you allow this information to be a seed - a seed of possibility. That seed may grow or it may not grow. But allow that seed of possibility to be there. I hope you enjoy what you read.
I found this video about how to have an extraordinary life. Acting on just some of these suggestions would make a profound difference in many lives. As the video states, remember to remember. The choice is yours. Enjoy!
